Webhosting in Sweden
This is how hosting in Sweden with Binero works!
What can you publish?
The simple answer is that you can publish anything that does not violate Swedish law. You must follow the Personal Data Act (PUL). It regulates how to publish peoples names and other personal data.
PUL contains no specific rules for the Internet, but affects internet the same way as in “real life”. Basically, you can publish names in regular text as long as you do not offend the person it refers to. You can also, if you have serious journalistic ambitions with your website, apply for a publication authorization by the authority for radio and television and thus have a constitutional protection for your publications.
You may not post copyrighted material that you do not have the rights to. Music, photos, movies, and many texts are covered by copyright and may not be published without the rightholder’s permission. But there are things published under Creative Commons licenses. It means you get to use them under certain conditions and for certain purposes. There is even a special search engine to find such materials. However, be sure to find out and follow the terms of each item you use.
